You are welcome to the website of The Nigerian Association of Nephrology (NAN) which was founded in 1987. The Association comprises different professionals involved in the care of patients with kidney disease and research into kidney structure, function and disease. They include but not limited to Nephrologists, Physicians, Urologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, Intensivists, Nephrology Nurses, Intensive care Nurses, Theatre Nurses, Dialysis machine technologists and engineers, Nutritionists, as well as other physicians and nurses with interest in nephrology and related fields.
The Exco has adopted the updated report on the criteria for NAN Fellowship. EXCO is working on an alternative form of recognition for associate members - Presidents of NANN and NART are working with the fellowship committee on that.

Emeritus Professor Oladipo Olujimi Akinkugbe, a great scholar, exemplary physician, and one of Africa’s foremost medical educationists and administrators, transited into glory on the 15th of June, 2020 at the age of 86 years.
