The Association shall consist of Foundation members, Ordinary members, Associate members, and Honorary members.
Foundation Members shall consist of those persons who were present at the inaugural and preliminary meetings. Also those who by the time of the 1st Annual General Meeting had indicated in writing to become members of the Association should they be eligible.
Ordinary Members shall be qualified medical practitioners actively engaged in the practice, teaching or research into Renal Medicine and Surgery and related fields.
Associate members shall be individuals other than doctors involved in renal care or who have an interest in nephrology and related fields.
Honorary Members shall be individuals not necessarily medical, who the Association may from time to time decide to honour for their deeds and services rendered in the realization of the Association’s objectives.
Life Members: A member shall qualify for life membership if he or she is more than 60 years old, has been a financial member of the association for at least 20 years, and pays a sum equal in amount to the annual dues for five years at the subsisting rate.
